President of DGMC Leads Master Class at Downers Grove High Schools

The Downers Grove Grove Music Club, in partnership with the District 99 Fine Arts Department, provides music education opportunities at the high schools from time to time.

Pictured here is Marilyn E. Wilgocki, President of Downers Grove Music Club, leading a 60-minute before-school master class on conducting techniques. Mrs. Wilgocki presented this class both at Downers Grove North High School and at Downers Grove South High School. A total of 31 students attended this presentation in early 2010.
 
DGMC works cooperatively with both high schools in master class programming and other areas involving the musical youth of our community. This outreach program is yet another example of the dedication on the part of DGMC to assisting young people interested in the fine arts field of music.
